2007 recipients of a Paul Harris
Award. This includes Max Middendorf awarded because of the
work he does on the Pittsfield Rotary website. Carol
Bradshaw and David Fuhler awarded their second Paul
Harris because of their dedicated work on the Rotary
Radio Days projects over the last several years. Also pictured is Past
District Governor Eric Dolbeare who was given his
third Paul Harris Fellow Award by the members of the Chihuahua Amigo Rotary
Club of Chihuahua, Mexico. Over the last 15 years, Eric has
been involved in various improvement projects with an
orphanage in Casa Hogar in Ojinaga, Mexico. Assistant
Governor for the district where the Chihuahua Amigo Club
is located and a member of that club, Rodolfo Lozoya
described the award in this manner: "Because the motto
of RI President Bill Boyd this year was "Follow the
way' and his message was Rotary symbolizes integrity, mutual
help between nations and the spirit of voluntary work, we
think that with the help of the Pittsfield Rotary Club and especially Eric's
interest, we were able to achieve this". |
