School site; Senior Chorus, Drama Chorus, Football, works at WBBA broadcasting
games with his father, Umpires Little League;, s in church youth group and plays
guitar and sings in the UMC praise team.
Plans on attending Taylor Sweeting, son of Terry and Judy. Enjoys art. Drama, SADD, speech contest, Teen Prep, Student Council, Spring Musical, is Basketball and track manager, a Hospital volunteer, assists at the Cross Roads Center, is in Christian Youth Fellowship, and works at the Red Dome. He plans to attend McMurray and major in Social work. Nathan Reese, son of Karen and Bob.
Is in Art, Drama, Swing Choir, is a drummer in the UMC Praise Band,
participates in track and the school musical. Works at Happy Birthday was sung to David and Wally…. Their years totaled: 129 years, so figure out their ages…..they total 52 years of being in Rotary….. Program: Roberta introduced
Marsha Garrison, Executive Director of the Twin Pike YMCA, Martha explained the history and efforts that went into establishing the
YMCA, which serves both Pike County, Missouri and The YMCA is being used by both counties, and is planning on a large scale expansion program that will eventually have not only very excellent facilities for health activities, but also a indoor pool. Probable cost will be several million dollars, but it will be well worth it to have a fully functional YMCA available for this area. Funding for the YMCA comes only from local area. National YMCA only gives direction to the process. Johnson Stilwell was operated on at 4 today to replace his new hip.. Doing OK, as Gwen reported. Chuck Barber was too lazy to shovel his snow, but reports he is doing better and recovering from his operation.. (but not coming to Rotary yet…making up on the internet napkin…..) -- |
