Program:  Chris Little introduced Sandy Schotts, coordinator for Pike County’s 9-11 system

Sandy told us that as of this week the enhanced 9-11 system is on line and working., with 99% accuracy.

Wireless calls still go to the State Police, but this will soon be through the County’s system. They are also working on computer calling… although you can call 285-4471 and still reach the 911 system…..

Two lines are covered at all times by the properly trained 911  operators.   If a 3rd call comes in, it is forward automatically to a trained operator in Scott County, who handles it as if it were in Pike County.

Sandy passed our complete information sheets… hope you read yours…..
