Eldon Atwood graced our presence by coming back…..along with some more make-ups, keeping his record intact. He says’ There ain’t no place like home’….(and HE was a Superintendent of Schools…..) Waters, President-elect of A very nice ‘Thank You’ from Andy Stremlaw, Principle of Griggsville-Perry, to our Rotary Club for our sponsorship of the Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco program for the school children.. He stressed the value to improving our society, the children’s lives and future. Better still, he wrote a letter to the editor of our local newspapers….. (haven’t read it, but will tonite)…. Another nice ‘Thank You’ letter was received from Chabra Kelley, who received the I-pod, from our Rotary Club, for her exemplary following of the rules laid down by our committee for student participation at the Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco program…..Hand written, no less….. President Ann reminded us of the Pig Day Bar-B-Que Challenge…..let’s get our plans to WIN started……Who will lead, so we will win….. Important: WORK DAY…..WBBA…..for Radio Day….Tomorrow… Thursday May 17…starting at 9:00 a.m. Carole Bradshaw says we neeed all the help we can get…so, plan on giving some of your time…. The effort of selling ads for Rotary Radio Day had a ‘Turned in on time, Today’ total of $8,160…….WOW!!!
