Pittsfield Rotary Members,

I want to thank everyone who was involved in making our GSE team visit successful.  They were a delightful team.  I received an e-mail from one of our guests, Warunee, today thanking us for everything.

A special thank you to Linda and Phil Bradshaw and Violet Shulman for hosting our visitors, to Mark Meleski for hosting the pot luck at his house, and to Ron Short for organizing everything.  

Also – please thank the following non-Rotarians and businesses who graciously gave tours:  Lois Pennock and staff at Walnut Knob, Jeff Galle and Nathan Post at JWCC Ag Center and Orr Research Center, Collver Winery, Dick Metcalf at PASA Park and Andy Sprague at Kinderhook Lodge.  (By the way – Andy treated us all to a free lunch at the lodge – saying it was “his treat”).  I know there were other businesses on Wednesday morning who gave tours also, but I’m sorry that I don’t have a complete list.  Anyway – please express our appreciation to those people who made the visit memorable for our Thai guests.

 (By the way, Apinya lost one of the long fingernails they used for their dance – has anyone found it?  Please let me know so we can get it to her.)

Now – next on our agenda is Radio Day.  I will have the ads ready for our team leaders to distribute on Wednesday.  The Radio Day this year is May 17, so we only have two weeks to sell.  Please try to attend on Wednesday so we can get these distributed to everyone.
