Program: Mel Martin came through and saved us from a rather pathetic period of the promised ‘line dancing’…. As threatened by the ‘El – (whatever he calls himself-) Presidente’ Randy Hires., who introduced Mel Martin as a ‘has been’….really great Rotarian……Dentist… Committee member, Song Leader… and a real asset to our community.
Mel and his wife will be entering an appointment to serve their church, The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints….(Mormon) .
Mel proceeded to list the very numerous ways that persons could serve their church, and right now they are not sure in which particular capacity the church elders would like them to serve.
They filled out numerous forms on their capabilities, hopes, dreams, etc., and this was put into a computer. The final decision is up to the Pastor of the State, who recommends where they will truly fit in.
We wish them the best in the future. May they safely return to
time of service is over.
