IF you haven’t been to see the performance of ‘OKLAHOMA  at PHS…you can still go on Saturday nite (7:00 pm) or again on Sunday…(2;00 pm)  it’s excellent!!! Don’t miss this opportunity…. The director, Noue,  is married to Rotarian Jim Filbert…and has done an excellent job of putting this show together….

 

Visiting Rotarian:  Jack Garner, Mt. Troy, Pennsylvania….(guest of El Commandante Randolfff)

Radio Day needs 7 team Captains….I logged 6 at the meeting, who either were volunteers, or drafted:   Walker, Shirley, Greg, Randy, Jim and Chris….(will figure out the other one later…)

NEXT WEEK: Tuesday evening:  5:30 P.M. AT THE Red Dome…..meet the GSE Team……let Randy know if you are coming……(Dutch treat)…are you bringing a guest….

 Rotary will meet at noon  on Wednesday at the Farm Bureau Hall with our special guests,  the GSE Team….IF you are going to bring a guest…..which is a very good idea, please let Jennifer know by MONDAY noon……..

Wednesday evening: POT LUCK at Mark  Meleski’s….5:30 p.m….(see previous email)  eat and enjoy….

 

Ground rules for those coming:   Do Not touch our guests’ head.  Don’t point your feet at them….do not make a joke about their King, (or ruler)…..

 

Student Guests from Pleasant Hill High School:

Devin Wombles, daughter of Mark and Cheryl.  Works on the farm and as a life guard….Honor student, plays basket ball, will attend John Wood (playing basket ball) and plans on a job in Physical Therapy eventually.

Kyla Lippencott, daughter of Jeff and Tami.  Plays basketball, Volley Ball and track.  National Honor Society, tutors kids, wants to be a Dermatologist and will attend U of IL at Edwardsville….

 

Program:  Julie Boren introduced a part of the cast of ‘Oklahoma’,who provided us with a short, but excellent glimpse of the musical.(don’t forget to GO…..Go….to see it!!!)
