Pig Day Cookout Challenge….Harry will plan to cook…anyone else wishing to, please contact him.  Need help putting out results to the public….anyone who can help…plan on being there.

Shirley Johnston announced that the Community Center Garage Sale will be on July 11 from 4-7 p.m., and the 12^th from 7-3 p.m.   Anyone with something to donate should contact her, or bring it to the Tom Henderson residence on the 11^th…or the community center on the 9^th………Come and BUY!!!!

The Community Center will celebrate it’s 60^th Birthday on Sunday, June 29^th with an Ice Cream Social from 2 to 4 p.m..  Entertainment by Teresa and Jeff Davidsmeyer and the Famed, Fabulous Rotary Quartette.  Your generous donations will be appreciated. 

Sign-up sheet for the Rotary Annual Mee3ting was passed…about 50 have signed up.  It will be next Monday, June 30^th at the Crossroads, starting at 6:00 p.m….

Program:  Outgoing El SupremeO Presidente Randy introduced ‘The Voice of Pike County’, David Fuhler, to give a report on the flood situation in Pike County.

David reported that currently, things seem to be under control, but there is a lot of concern over the railroad bridge being down and the possibility of increased level of the river on the Northern Sny Levee….

The fighting of the potential flooding is taking its tole on many, but they are doing their best.

Help is still needed filling sandbags at Pleasant Hill and Hull area..

President –elect Debbie was seen  filling out committee assignments for this next Rotary Year…Tell her YES, you will serve….(it’s easier than what you might be assigned to later)…..
