September 15 is Rotary Day at the Cardinals for those who have their tickets from the one that wasn’t last spring . (Come and see the Cubs lose……. )

introduced Ann Moffitt and Cathy Ervin, who are in charge of the local M4M
2nd Annual 5 K Walk/Run on September 8 at the
Ann said that the Walk/Run for Myeloma raised over $10,000.00 last year.
Myeloma is a Blood Cancer, not to be confused with Melanoma, which is a skin cancer.
Because it is rare, not to many know about it, but the research is helping people with it LIVE!!! And that is important to them.
The proceeds from the event go to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, a non-profit organization working to accelerate the search for a cure.
There is also a non-competitive walk, for those who choose to do that….and still be a part of this activity.
A beautiful Quilt is being raffled off, made by Michelle Welbourne and Nancy Halpin…buy lots of tickets…

Note from Dr. Tom Bunting…he is going to Kalispell, Montana to have a birthday party with his son…Tom will be 80,his son, Jeff, 50….others attending the family get together are Mary’s sister, Caryl Trasker, Griggsville, Steve Bunting M.D, Hinsdale, IL, Great-grand daughter Paige Adams,(with mother Salina Bunting and David Adams) and Jeff’s wife Carol.
Tom finished as President of the Green Valley, AZ Rotary Club on June 30… said it’s been a BUSY year……
