son, and is currently working at Hooper Niebur Insurance. Josh just moved to
Student Guests: Emily Hamilton, daughter of John and Diane. She is in National Honor Society, Student Council and loves art. She mostly works at home and at the Red Dome. She plans on attending JWCC, and major in Education and accounting.
Megan Daniel, daughter of Doug and Marsha DeJanes. She is in NHS, Editor in Chief of the Yearbook, Saukee Peer Assistance, Art Club, Class officer for all 4 years, WYSE, in both Prom and Homecoming courts, and received the academic excellence award.
She works for her Dad’s business, is planning on going to Culver-Stockton in Business Management.

Brenda also is in charge of the Access Illinois Program of the Two Rivers
RC&D. She received the $500.00
check from Rotary to help with the processing of deer donated by hunters to the
Food Pantries in
Brenda reported that over 10,000 pounds of processed deer meat was distributed last year and this year she expects more, since the Area Disposal has told outfitters that they would not be picking up deer carcasses.
The area locker plants are processing the deer. (Note: On 11-10-08 over 29 deer were brought to the refrigerated trailer at The Archery Shop…..and over 2900 pounds of processed deer meat was distributed to the two Pike County Food Pantries).
Brenda should be commended for doing such an excellent job…..
November18 at the Light House, at6:30 p.m., our Rotary Club will have a joint meeting with the Louisiana Club. So far 30 Rotarians and guests have signed up to attend.. If you have yet to make a reservation, contact President Debbie Dugan at 833-2470..evenings, or 285-6612 during the day at her office, or this Wednesday at our Rotary meeting…..
Anyhow…let’s have a real crowd representing OUR Rotary Club at our 1st joint meeting……

Randy explained the history of duck calling, which really originated in
Antique duck calls are worth big bucks…one recently purchased at a garage sale for $5.00 was sold to a collector for $5000.00!!
Randy makes ‘Collector’ duck calls.
He recently won a National contest for laminated duck calls in
Excellent program again….Keep them coming Rotarians!
