Student guests from Pleasant Hill: Alexis Damon, daughter of Missy and Doug.  She is in !Quiz Bowl, St. Council, Sr. Class treasurer,  FHA treasurer, Chorus, NHS, NSH Honors, Christian Church youth group, worship team, wants to attend Truman State in Communications Disorders/Speech   Pathology.

Lindsey Rouse, daughter of Teresa and Gary Shinn., she is in Student Council, Snowball, (which prevents drugs, alcohol, and tobacco), FHA, Chorus, Softball, volleyball, Cheerleading, crossing guard at school, Blue Crew, NHS, Chorus, Quiz bowl, and a life guard at the pool..  Plans on attending JWCC , then SIUC in Dental Hygiene.

Program:  Sharri  White RN head of the Oncology Department at Illini Hospital and Jill Watkins, Aide, talked about the different types of treatments that are offered by their department.  It includes all types of cancer treatments, as well as emotional and physiological as well.

Illini is adding new Doctors all the time in many areas.  They all collaborate so a person receives the right care, right here at home.  They treat the patient and the whole family.

The presentation was so interesting, I took few notes, so, IF you need to go to a hospital for treatment, CHOSE ILLINI…. We know they have everything going there, plus really caring people……!!
