Sibley, daughter of Shane and Mindy. She is NHS treasurer, Math team, Jazz
Band, State Math Team, works part-time at Taco Johns, and also for N.D.
Harrison Accounting. Plans on a math career.
Megan
Sanderson, daughter of Troy and Karissa Burdick. She is in Saukettes, Vice
President of Student Council, Band, Jazz Band, District Band, Snow Ball and
Alcohal and Drug Prevention Works at Dairy Ripple and plans on attending
college somewhere in Counseling/ Psychology.
Diego
Martinez, our Rotary Exchange Student.
Program:
Julie Boren brought several casst members of the Highschool drama group, who
put on segments of the play, this next week.
Their short,
but interesting performance made many of us wanting to attend the performence
.....its Novmber 12-13 &14at the high school auditorium. Go and enjoy!!

Hawley, Superintendent of Unit 10, with Gary Wood.
Literacy
Committee was informed that applications are due for grants on December 5. Any
ideas for a project give to Gary Wood.
Gary
reported that the bokmobile went 54 times this summer delivering books to
outlying students to keep up their reading in the summer. The bookmobile logged
over 100 miles per trip. The idea has spread with Plesant Hill making9 trips in
their first year at it. Western made 4 trips in their inital year this year.
About 200.00 left over was given to the library to buy books.
Beth Stark
called to thank Rotary for the new books they purchased with the money.

meeting the day befor Thanksgiving.
Congratulations
to Walker Filbert for his winning a place on theCounty Board in the election.
Also to Julie Boren's husband, Mike for the same.(The County Board will be very
effective this session ...Julie and Amy will see to it....)

letter was received from Brenda Middendorf for the mony for helping get deer
meatto food pantries in Pike County throughnthe Access Illinois.
