Program: Robb Mehan, Illinois Deprtment of Security

Robb informed us that the Secretary of State regulates security in Illinois.

Fraud is increaseing in small communities, especially in the spring. Elderly are targeted.

He gave us a quiz on scams, and many failed. He also passed out a very informative literature.

Reminded us that it take 7 to 10 days for checks to clear an if we receive a large check from someone, also wanting some money to be returned, don't do it.

For more information, contact the Secretary of State....1-800-628-7937.......
