PITTSFIELD ROTARY CLUB 3-9-2011

Student guests, WesternStudent Council, Taylor Wharton, daughter of Lori. She's in Pep Band, Swing Choir, Marching Band, Spring Musical: NHS, Scholastic Bowl, works at the pool, pl aysVollyBall, Does Basketball Stats, baby sits, works at the pool. Plans on going to NEMO State Univ. in Mathmatics Education.

Kayce Harris, daughter of John and Deone. She is in NHS, Quiz Bowl, Cheer Leader, will try out for college cheerleading next week at Lindwood University, Vet Medicine.

Erica Hoskin, daughter of Rich and Jane. (the Spoild one in the family), she is in Vollyball, Softball, Basketball, will attend Quincy University in Elementary Education.. Wants her own Day Care...

Program: Max Middendorf introduced his wife, Brenda, who is coordinating Recycling for Pike County.

Brenda said that the RC& D has taken over the recycling for the county and that it will be handled by the Work Activity Center on Fridays...see the publicity, it starts April 1......no foolin' Fridays, 9-1 at Work Activity Center

The 4-H Clubs will till assist the 1st Saturdays of each Month, April through October.

Recycling provides jobs, replaces mining and saves stuff goig to landfills... The one thing positively identified from space on our planet is the New York City Land Fill...

It takes a lot less to recycle than create...

Make a Shopping List....Buy un-packaged materials when possible.

REDUCE.....REUSE....RECYCLE.....!!!!!!
