Student
Guests: Katie Johnson, daughterof Richard and Melinda. She is in
Track,Journalism, Blessing Hospital Youth Corps, softball, helps with Barry Car
Show, will attend UST in Radiology Technology and Art History.
Rachel
Whitlock, daughter of Jeffrey and Laura Reis, she is married to Michael and has
a daughter. She is in 4-H, FFA, softball, basketball, track, likes livestock
shows, will attend JWCC in Agriculture Education.

Day is tenatively set for (May 14. Drug/Alcohol day for May 13. Rotary Board
April 27.
Jan Bleich
reported the Rotary GSE Team will arrive Tuesday evening, April 19. They will
be hosted by Violet Shulman, Phil and Linda Bradshaw, Carolyn Casteel and Jan
and Rndy Bleich.
Carole
Bradshaw will be driving the van. They will tour the Pittsfield new water plant
with Max Middendorf, and other places.
District
Rotary meeting, about 5 attending from our Rotary Club. Registration is at
8:30.
Rotary
District 6460 is starting a foundation. Need a trustee from either
Pittsfield , Quincy or Rushville. Must have been a Rotary Club President.

reported not too many have gotten ticket orders for the Rotary Day at the
Cardinals whipping the Cubs game.Next week will be the ordering. (Walker
Filbert ordered 3 in the cheap seat area.He didn't want to associate with the
winning team Cardinal fans ...He doesn't like to hear all the cheering when the
Cardinals win).
Deb Festa
was back and we congratulated Pine Lakes on being named "The Business of
the Year" by the Pike County Chamber of Commerce.
Program:
Beth Smith who received a cornea transplant this past year, introduced Sitha
Hunn,from the Secretary of States Office.
Sitha spoke
on the donor program the Secretary of State Office has sponsored for many
years.
Now you can
have a permendant doror designation. You must be 18 or older. The need is there
and you can have the designation on your driver's license.
One donor
can help up to 25 people.The corneas,heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, intestines,
bones, skin, even now hands and other parts are really needed. There are 16
different organizations for monitoring organ donations.
100,000+ are
waiting for donor parts.
Give your
parts that can help someone else.You really ndon't need them after death. Sign
