Good to have these young men with us and we wish them good luck in their future endeavors.

Walker Filbert did a fine job of inducting our newest Rotarian, Carrie Boyd.  We are very pleased to have her as a part of Rotary.  Carrie was born and raised in Pike County and is currently running for State's Attorney.  After her induction Carrie gave a very nice acceptance speech.  Welcome, Carrie, to Rotary!

Program next week should be a dandy.  Walter Lamb is in charge and will be telling and showin us all about the Honor Flight for WWII veterans to Washington DC which he recently took with daughter Janie.

Next Board Meeting will be 11-15-11. Site to be determined. Watch your email.

Carole Bradshaw thanked everyone for a wonderful Rotary Radio Day.  Figures to be announced later.

Roberta Dolbeare-Simpson was in charge of the program and brought us Cindy and Gregg Blaylock from the Louisiana Mo Rotary Club.  They are part of the IFMR (International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians) and they rode with a group to the RI convention in New Orleans this year.  They stopped in Memphis on Beale Street which was blocked off to accomodate motorcycles only.  Several riders from Europe and all over the US joined together when they hit Baton Rouge and from there they rode with escort to the convention in New Orleans.  The bikers came up with a total of over $50,000 to present in one check to  Polio Plus at the international convention.

Good meeting group!
