Subject: Meeting of 5-7-08

The Rotary Board met at the Pittsfield Community Center at 11:30 am prior to our regular meeting at noon.

Attending were Pres Randy, Max, Jan, Connie, Chuck, Roberta, Anne, Debbie and Brandon.

Max made the motion we support Illini Hospital by donating money ($100) to buy a hole sponsorship at their annual golf outing at Old Orchard Country Club. Jan seconded the motion and it carried.

Minutes of previous meeting were approved after they were read by Sec Chuck. Max made the motion and Debbie seconded.

Treasurers report was submitted be Roberta and a copy is attached. Acceptance was effected by Connie moving and Debbie seconding.

Under New Business Randy appointed a committee to get the Annual Meeting into place. Violet volunteered and Roberta, Carolyn, Randy, Lynda, and Chuck were appointed

Paul Harris Fellow award was discussed since Blake Roderick gave $100 to the fund .

Relay For Life was discussed and Debbie felt we should give $250. Jan was favorable so she seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Rotary Barber Shop singers were mentioned as entertainment for the annual meeting.

Carole Bradshaw was elected to be our delegate to the R. I. Convention to be held in L.A. Carole indicated she would be happy to represent the club. Connie moved and Debbie seconded the motion which passed.
