| Part of the Rotary experience includes giving back to the
community. We are able to put together the resources necessary to provide
services back to the community through our fundraising efforts. Our club
is always looking for worthwhile causes to support and ways to enhance our
fundraising efforts. The links to the left explain some of our ongoing

2007 Fall Color Drive / Rotary Radio Days

| This year the Pittsfield Rotary Club will again be working
with the Pike County
Fall Color Drive to help promote activities associated with the event.
We will be adding more Rotarians to our on-the-scene live interviews at various
Color Drive locations to provide a firsthand account of this year's activities.
2007 Radio Days promises to be an exciting endeavor with new vendors and
activities and a wealth of opportunities to see Pike County's resources in all
their splendor. |

New Rotary Memorial at Illini
|
| A dedication ceremony will commemorate the completion of a new
memorial at the main entrance to Illini Community Hospital. The final
piece, the Rotary emblem was set in place following our October 10, 2006
meeting. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those that helped make this
project a reality. Special mention goes out to the staff of Illini
Hospital, to Doug Strother, and for the leadership, past and present, of the
Pittsfield Rotary Club for having the vision and fortitude. |
